- “Fowl” Weather Didn’t Stop Us From Catching Fish

Rain, wind, & rough seas were the name of the game this past weekend. Friday’s group came all the way from Texas and they toughed it out. We still caught fish (bluefish & stripers) but it was so nasty & wet I only got the camera out to get a photo of the gull that got hung up in our lines. Due to the weather conditions I decided it would be in everybody’s best interest to cancel the trips the remainder of the weekend. Today, it was a much different story…warm, sunny, and calm. Everybody seemed to enjoy jigging and we ended up catching our limit of stripers on top of the water. When I don’t have a charter I’ve been doing some commercial gill netting.
