Strickly Stripers Now.

We continue to catch our limits of stripers when the weather cooperates.  Friday was one of those days when the weather was not going to let us get on the fish.  I had a great youth group from Standardsville United Methodist Church who hung in there all day in rough conditions for only a handful of fish.  First Mate Tom and I were proud of them…no seasickness and no complaints.  What a wonderful group of young men.

Saturday and Sunday were picture perfect…good weather and lots of action.   On Saturday, Bill Osl from Warrenton, brought a group of church friends.  Sunday was my first Open Boat Day.  Nine got on the boat that morning not knowing who they would be fishing with and by the end of the day new friendships had been made.  Thanks to all of you for being so great and making this day enjoyable for all.
