The general Striped Bass(Rockfish) season opens on May 16 where you can keep 2 fish per person. Blues will be coming in soon also which means lots of pulling action mixed in with the Rockfish.  If you want to get in on the big Red Drum that will be mid-summer you better get on the books now.  These fish are only here for a short time and those charters have become really popular because of the size of the fish even though most of them are too large for us to keep.  I usually can fill in with other species so you can still take home a good catch.  If you love spot & croaker you’ll want to book a bottom fishing trip June through August.   Also, I’ll relocate the boat down the bay to Horn Harbor Marina in Mathews July 5-9 to fish around the Bay Bridge Tunnel for cobia & shark if I can book the 5 days straight to make it worth my while to make the move.  The cost for the cobia trips will be a little higher–$650 for 6 people and $75 for each extra passenger.  If you look on the homepage you will see some of the big trophy cobia and sharks we caught last year.  I will need to know whether or not to make the arrangements to relocate, so you can’t wait until the last minute to commit for July 5-9.
